Old Meets New
Long before it became Artefact, 100 Argyle Avenue was a 1955 office building — a quiet fixture of Centretown's streetscape for seven decades.
One of the project's most significant milestones is now complete: the heritage limestone façade has been carefully reinstated. Each stone was catalogued and preserved before construction began, then painstakingly reconstructed to give the original building a second life as the podium of the new residential tower.

Old Meets New at Artefact
One of the most exciting milestones on the project is now complete: the heritage limestone façade has officially been reinstated. Part of the property's original 1955 office building, each stone was carefully preserved before construction began and has now been reconstructed, giving the façade a second life as part of the new residential tower. With construction continuing to move ahead, Artefact on Argyle is on track to welcome its first residents to its prime Centretown location this Fall.
